  • You will manage the Cloud P&L, drive modelling, forecasting, and automation activities, and oversee data science programs in order to provide guidance on the best use of financial and human capital resources and to promote accountability.

About Your New Job

  • You will be utilizing the most recent industry best practices, developing and optimising analytical frameworks, data pipelines, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions across ETL, storage, and visualization layers.
  • Helping rebuild derivative tables and reporting dashboards, re-engineering current data pipelines in BigQuery and GoogleSQL, and optimising dashboard front- and back-ends.
  • Maintaining backends, actively monitoring current BigQuery / GoogleSQL data pipelines, and promptly addressing stakeholder needs, problems, and feature requests.
  • Writing or automating unit testing, verifying and supporting reports downstream, and aligning refresh cycles and definition.
  • Creating and keeping up with non-technical documentation on model usage and data management.
  • Tracking performance metrics, identifying patterns and giving financial and business leadership rapid, accurate reporting and analysis.

What Skills You Need

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a sector relevant to data analysis (BI, data scientist, FP&A, quantitative analyst).
  • Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Data Studio, Looker, Tableau), research platform (Colab/Jupyter), and Google Spreadsheets or Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • R, Python, and/or Javascript intermediate proficiency is advantageous.
  • Prior experience creating, managing, and using Big Data pipelines (Bn+ records).
  • Strong communication abilities, particularly the capacity to convey complicated findings to a non-technical audience in a systematic and succinct manner.
  • Familiarity with FP&A, Cloud, and Google.
